European lotto&lt

No lottery is so popular and so powerful with millions of dollars as Europalotto. It thrills people with the Eurojackpot and the Euromillions and has always provided euphoria for newcomers as well as experienced players since the beginnings in 2004. Reason enough to get to the bottom of the differences and similarities of the two Eurolotto variants!

Similarities

The operators of the most popular lotteries in Europe have always tried to make the rules as simple and self-explanatory as possible. Consistently, nobody has to fear being beaten by potential strategies or tactics. The Euromillions and the Eurojackpot are based on an identical game format: as a lottery ticket they make their name, because the winners are determined only by correctly prognosticated numbers and the necessary portion of luck.

Differences

Small differences can be found in the betting slips: While 5 numbers between 1 and 50 are chosen first, two additional numbers have to be decided for, with a span of 11 other possibilities for the euromillions and of 10 the eurojackpot. The profit chances differ comparatively strongly.

Cost comparison

For the most lucrative supplier, a filled Lottoschein for the Euromillions costs 2,50 Euro, while the Eurojackpot is only 2,00 Euro. Lottery enthusiasts who want to rely on regular draws are generally better off with the Euromillions: While there’s only one draw on Friday taken into account for the Euromillions, there is an additional option on Tuesday with the other competitors.

Jackpot comparison

And also the maximum winnings are different: While there are up to 190 million euros on the game with the euromillions, the Eurojackpot rises to a maximum of 90 million euros at the most. The lower limits are at a similar level of 15 million euro and 10 million euro respectively.

Euromillions or Eurojackpot?

Which of the two Europalotto variants ultimately corresponds to their own needs and wishes, each player must decide for themselves. If the euromillions stand out with higher amounts and twice as many draws, it must always be remembered that the bet is higher and the profitability is smaller.

The eurojackpot may be superficially limited to just € 90 million, but its players are more likely to have a small or large profit. The guideline is your own taste!
