Euromillions in Belgium
Euromillions unites Europe: The Belgians have been in a euro millions fever for a long time, since Belgium has joint the popular cross-country lottery in 2004.
The rules of play
The rules of play are just as easy for Euromillions in Belgium as they are anywhere else: you simply choose 5 numbers between 1 and 50, plus 2 lucky stars. The drawing will be broadcasted in Belgium every Tuesday and Friday night. You can either play classic with a paper ticket or on the Internet. You can also opt for the Quick Pick option, where a random number generator selects the numbers for you, or you simply save your numbers for the next round. In Belgium the Euromillions are managed by the National Loterij, headquartered in Brussels. To be able to play, you must be at least 18 years old.
Belgische Euromillions winners
Several success stories of Belgian Euromillions winners give an optimistic outlook: The highest win of a Belgian winner to date was around 100 million euros in 2007. In 2013, however, a player from Belgium had to share the 187 million euro of the Mega Jackpot with a lottery player from Ireland. But other winning amounts are also dizzying: in 2014, a Belgian man won 67 million euros, while a woman won 93 million euros. However, the upper limit of 190 million Euros has not yet been cracked in Belgium. You may succeed - with a little bit of luck?
